We may be in the midst of a global pandemic, and headlines announcing that a number of employers have cut back on their recruitment plans in the short term can make for gloomy reading. But things are changing fast and it’s important to keep your CV up to date so that you’re ready to make the most of any opportunities when they do arise.
You may not be working at the moment, but might nevertheless have skills and experience that you can add to your CV. Maybe you’ve helped out at a local food hub, or assisted vulnerable neighbours with getting their shopping during the pandemic; perhaps you’ve found yourself becoming somewhat of an expert with video technology such as Zoom, or organised quiz nights via video; or maybe you’ve discovered a new found love for reading, or even developed a new hobby.
